I think this is my best fanart to date (which still is not saying much) or at least in my opinion which is funny because it was just a gag.

So the story behind this started out because the old main characters from the fourth game of a series by Capcom who are now supporting characters are scruffy looking (aka hobos).

However while in the process of doing this (finally) I noticed a few other things...
1.) Both have necklaces that are important to the storyline at some point in the series. They both have one food addiction (sorry I forgot to include strawberry sundaes for Dante but that could be for dessert later) and (in my opinion are dorks who think they are badass. They do have badass moments but are still very dorky)
2.) The new main characters are loud and have rolled up sleeves
3.) SPOILER:
Both new main characters were at some point orphaned and have some kind of "sibling" connection... but that is kind of stretching it

Although I didn't actually start working on this until after Anime STL where I met Johnny Yong Bosch who did the voice of Nero (and ~HolliGenet and I are pretty sure he did Klavier's voice. I asked him and he said he couldn't remember because he's been doing a lot of game voices lately but when I asked him if he yelled "Objection" he said he was pretty sure he did that so who knows at this point. Oh well...) I got really excited about it when I found out that the DMC seires or at least 3 and 4 started with the stunt/actor/voice acting was shot all at once and with a very bare script the actors kind of do what they want with it, and also watching a live action film he was in called "Broken Path" which had so much badass fighting in it (and a lot of Johnny Yong Bosch getting his ass kicked. He did a lot of ass kicking too but I don't think as much as he got beat up). I'm also pretty sure the voice/stunt/actor for Vergil was one of the people in the movie which I thought was cool. Although all I know about him is that his first name is Dan and I never want to get in a fight with him (or anyone in that film really) X_X
